Tiger Eye meaning in folklore
Tiger eye is said to let you see everything clearly. The silken sheen of limonite fibres causes a unique light effect when it is polished in the shape of a ball and looks like an eye. This is the origin of the ancient belief that tiger eye heals problems with vision. It is also considered a protective stone from the Middle Ages when amulets of tiger eye were worn to guard against spells, demons and the "evil eye".
