Labradorite Ball

Labradorite is a popular member of the feldspar family of minerals. It is a beautiful gemstone that is found in many colors. This gray variety with flashes of purple, blue and yellow is found in the peninsula of Labrador in eastern Canada. The phenomenon of some feldspars to display varying intensities of color is called 'labradorescence'.

Labradorite is also known as one of the "seven gems of winter".
